Jewelry Care

At GoldJuju, our pieces are carefully crafted to be water-resistant and durable, ready to accompany you in everyday moments. However, a little extra care will help preserve their sparkle, finish, and unique beauty.

Materials: Platinum Vermeil & 18k Gold Vermeil

  • Platinum Vermeil
This is platinum plating over 925 sterling silver, giving your jewelry a strong, lustrous finish.

  • 18k Gold Vermeil
This is 18k gold plating over 925 sterling silver, offering a warm, rich glow.

Both vermeil types provide an elevated appearance while maintaining the hypoallergenic benefits of sterling silver as the base metal.

Light Water Exposure

  • Our jewelry can handle light exposure to water—like quick handwashing or a bit of rain.
  • Avoid prolonged water contact, such as swimming, showering, or fully submerging your pieces, as excessive water, chemicals, and extreme temperatures can weaken the plating or affect the longevity of the jewelry.

Cleaning & Storing

  • Gently wipe your jewelry with a dry, soft cloth after wearing it, especially if it has come into contact with water or sweat.
  • Store your pieces in an airtight bag or jewelry box to protect them from scratches, dust, and tarnish.
  • Keep away from direct contact with perfume, lotions, alcohol, or other chemicals that may dull the finish.
  • Use an anti-tarnish strip in your storage to absorb humidity and help your jewelry stay pristine.
  • For a more thorough clean, you can carefully use a few drops of lukewarm water (excluding hydrophane Opal) and a soft polishing cloth or gentle sponge. Avoid harsh chemicals and rough materials.

Earrings & Hypoallergenic Pins

  • All earring pins are made of 925 sterling silver, which is naturally hypoallergenic and can be slightly bendable.
  • Clean the pin with an alcohol pad before wearing them for added safety and hygiene.

Pearls & Semi-Precious Gemstones

  • Every pearl is one-of-a-kind, highlighting natural variances that make them so special.
  • Our designs often incorporate semi-precious gemstones in their natural state, giving each piece its own unique character.
  • Because of these natural elements, slight differences in color, shape, or pattern are normal—and part of what makes your jewelry a true treasure.

Do’s & Don’ts
